About Kiron

At Kiron, we believe that everyone has an equal right to access quality education. We are an edtech non-profit dedicated to providing refugees and underserved communities free access to high-quality education, bridging skill gaps and promoting inclusion in the job market. As a team, we want to shape a world where everyone can fulfil their highest potential for a self-determined, dignified life, shaping a sustainable future together.

About the Role

Are you a student looking to gain hands-on experience in a meaningful, socially impactful project? Join us at Kiron as we launch Skill IT Up, an ESF-funded upskilling program supporting people with migration and refugee backgrounds to build sustainable careers in Germany’s IT sector. As part of the federal initiative “IQ – Integration durch Qualifizierung,” the program combines tech training, language development, and career coaching in a fully digital format across Germany. As a member of our Programs Team, you'll work closely with our Senior Program Manager and contribute to shaping a new program from the ground up while supporting our diverse, multilingual learner community. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills in a real-world setting, take on responsibility, and learn in a collaborative NGO environment.

Your Tasks

  • Act as a key contact for potential future and current learners, answering questions and supporting them throughout their learning journey
  • Assist with outreach, application processes, and online events
  • Maintain and update participant data and documentation in line with funder requirements
  • Help coordinate multiple learner cohorts and track participant progress
  • Support scheduling and communication with freelance coaches, tutors, and internal teams
  • Contribute to developing processes and templates for learner communication and program coordination
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider programs team if needed

  • Excellent German and English language skills (C1 written and spoken)

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks alongside your studies

  • Attention to detail and confidence using common digital tools (e.g. spreadsheets, communication platforms)

  • Currently enrolled at a German university or Fachhochschule, remaining enrolled for at least the next 12 months

  • Experience with digital learning environments or EdTech
