About Kiron
Since 2015, Kiron has been at the forefront of offering accessible, innovative educational solutions to refugees and underserved communities globally. With a comprehensive digital platform, Kiron Campus, we have supported over 100,000 learners with skills essential for the labour market, fostering academic, professional, and personal growth.
About the Program:
Thrive Afghanistan II:
Kiron is partnering with The Liaison Office (TLO) to implement THRIVE Afghanistan 2.0. Together, we are expanding on a previously successful round of the THRIVE Afghanistan program, which has already demonstrated a strong impact for Afghan women under restrictive conditions.
In response to the severe limitations imposed since the Taliban’s takeover in August 2021—including bans on university education and NGO employment—the program offers a critical alternative. Through flexible digital learning, it equips young women and non-binary individuals with essential skills in English, digital skills, and professional development.
The project ensures meaningful access and will continue until May 31, 2027 and includes multiple implementation phases, tutoring, mentoring, and Job preparation and placement activities.
