About the Role

As a Program Lead for THRIVE, you’ll take charge of Kiron’s flagship women empowerment program. The THRIVE program equips refugee women* in Germany with labor market skills, language acquisition, and professional soft skills to access the German job market. The program’s digital format, blended with tutoring and webinars, provides a learner-focused, scalable solution.  In addition, personalized elements like coaching, networking, and job fairs facilitate job market integration.

In this role, you’ll drive strategy and implementation, ensuring that all components of the program are learner-focused, impactful, and aligned with Kiron’s mission to democratize education.
Your Tasks
Program Strategy & Implementation
  • Drive strategic decisions to align THRIVE’s activities with Kiron’s mission, theory of change, and sustainable programming
  • Oversee program design and execution across learning journeys, events, and community management.
  • Manage Kiron’s learning environment (360Learning), including learner communication, group management, and progress tracking.
Corporate Relations:
  • Collaborate with Kiron’s Network Engagement team to scope and secure partnerships with companies for networking, coaching, and job placements.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with the MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning) team to evaluate program success and fulfill donor reporting requirements, including milestones and budgeting oversight.


Your Profile
  • Passion for digital education and creating opportunities for people with refugee backgrounds, especially refugee women*.
  • Proven leadership and strategic thinking abilities with a capacity to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Experience in program management within digital education or labor market integration programs.
  • Hands-on project management expertise: juggling priorities, achieving deliverables, and navigating stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong tech-savvy, with familiarity in learning platforms or digital communication tools.
  • Fluency in English and German B2.

  • Familiarity with the German job market and integration strategies.
  • Experience coordinating volunteers and engaging with civil society organizations.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methods.
